OUR STORY.
Fifteen years in the making. Built on science, driven by a belief that what we put in our bodies should never cost the ocean.

THE STORY
THE FOUNDER
After more than a decade working across marine biotechnology and the natural health industry, Mark Pages had seen firsthand how the omega-3 category was operating, and how little of it could justify itself on scientific or environmental grounds.
The fish oil industry was extracting billions of small pelagic fish from depleted oceans, processing them through supply chains that degraded the very nutrients they were meant to deliver. Mark knew there was a better way, because he had spent years working with the science that proved it.
"The algae was always the answer. Fish were just the delivery mechanism the industry had been using because it was convenient, not because it was right."
— MARK PAGES, FOUNDER
Drawing on 15+ years of experience and working alongside European partners, Mark built Phytality on a single conviction: that the most effective supplement and the most responsible one should always be the same product.
How We Grow
Our foundational pillars guide everything we do, from how we source our ingredients to the science behind every formulation. Built on sustainability, purity and evidence-led innovation, they reflect our commitment to creating nutrition that works in harmony with both people and planet.
We source nutrients from their biological origin — marine microalgae — not through fish or secondary supply chains. Going direct means going cleaner, purer and more effective.
Every product and claim is grounded in rigorous marine biotechnology and scientific evidence. We don't formulate from trends — we formulate from peer-reviewed research.
Ultra-pure nutrients, free from contaminants, oxidation and the variability of fish-based sourcing. Our TOTOX score is consistently under 5 — the gold standard for freshness.
Phytality does not harvest from the ocean. We work with it — cultivating microalgae in controlled environments that protect, rather than deplete, marine ecosystems.
